As of March 2020, Jon is a full member of the Guild of Television Camera Professionals and the International Association of Wildlife Filmmakers, and has worked with organisations including the Big Cat Sanctuary, West Highland Wildlife Tours, Inveraray Castle Estate, Lynx UK Trust, UWE Bristol NH unit, amongst others.

Having progressed through to interview for the BBC NH camera trainee scheme for Seven Worlds, interviewed by Fredi Devas and Scott Alexander, he has since actively pursued wildlife projects and further related experience.

Jon is currently working with Canon UK on various projects, including various wildlife shoots involving reptiles such as Bearded Dragons and Panther Chameleons, to demonstrate advances in lens and processor technology for animal eye-detection.

He also has experience with thermal and trap cameras, and has successfully filmed Red Deer, Barn Owls, and Pine Martens in the Scottish Highlands.
